ACEO's Artist Cards Editions and Originals

Artists Trading Cards are small 2.5" x 3.5" collectible cards. While the tradition began as artist to artist trades, they also became items available for sale. To appease the purists, those presented for sale are now referred to as ACEO's (Artist Cards Editions and Originals).

Given their small size, ACEO's are a great way for any artist to experiment with themes, techniques and composition. Those that are successful (and I am willing to part with) I put up for sale. Some of them will be here as direct sales, and others will be available at ETSY. This is a site created exclusively to sell handmade items and is well organized and user friendly for both buyers and sellers. I have many items for sale that are not shown here, including a large selection of ACEO's (collectable art cards). My ACEO's are 2.5" x 3.5" original paintings or hand-pulled prints; an affordable way to collect original works of art.

Chickanishing Trail ACEO original painting

This miniature landscape is a view from the Chickanishing Trail, Killarney Provincial Park. The trail takes you across a beautiful weathered granite plateau to Georgian Bay and a view of Chickanishing Creek. Not shown, but the large rock island actually sports a 'turn right' road sign to aid boaters to the launch.

Your original painting will be shipped in an acid free soft plastic sleeve, and rigid plastic mailer.

ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". They can be any media but have a standard size of 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card. They can be collected and traded or framed and displayed. They make ownership of original works of art affordable to all.

Refunds and Exchanges: Refunds allowed within two weeks of receipt, less the cost of shipping. Items must be received in the same condition they were sent.
